In that park, where I'm feeling depressed in the setting sun, shouts your voice my name
"Sorry for being late" even this single word doesn't reach me, doesn't reach me
I keep waiting until the sun went down I was gazing at your profile the whole time
I couldn't even say "Goodbye" I couldn't even say "Goodbye" ...
Forget me if you can However I become lonely immediately
In the end I want to hug you one more time But even this feeling doesn't reach me anymore
The wind at the end of September is painful It can't be helped to be lovely
Only one second would be fine only just a little God, please let my wish come true ...
The burned photo of us two soon you will be with the person of your fate
You will, you will never never forget me
You have always always been crying under that big cherry tree
Only alone I was scared I couldn't look at the crying you
I am here. You are here ? Therefore you don't have to feel lonely
In that park, where I'm feeling depressed in the evening sun, shouts your voice my name
I love you This single word doesn't reach me, doesn't reach me
The burned photo of silence even a very small imposed voice
You will, you will never never forget me
You have always always been crying under that big cherry tree
You are, you are because of this changing nothing, nothing
You have under that big cherry tree always always been waiting for me
Over and over again your muttering to this album full of memories
I've come to watch you sleeping, tired of crying
Under that big cherry tree packed full of memories
I am gazing at you who are waiting for my return ...

Alice Nine Tour 2010 'Kikagaku no Kotowari' at Zepp Tokyo
After Alice Nine performed at Zepp Tokyo and disappeared behind the curtains, the video screen onstage showed future schedules from July onwards. Cheers and applauses from the fans filled the venue...a good number of them were gleefully screaming. That's because there was an announcement about a new concert tour titled 'Alice Nine Live Tour 10 "FLASH LIGHT from the past". Beginning from July 5th at Shibuya O-EAST (for club ALICE [fan club] members only!) to the concert at Zepp Sendai on October 17th, for the extensive tour they will put on 30 performances. If you look at the list of the music halls, you'll notice that they aren't especially huge venues. That provides a special opportunity for the fans to see the members up close.
It was also announced that the final concert of the special tour would be held at Nippon Budokan.
'Alice Nine Live Tour 10 "FLASH LIGHT from the past" FINAL "TOKYO GALAXY"'
Thursday, January 6th, 2011 Nippon Budokan
Their performance at Nippon Budokan will probably become their very first concert for 2011. Fans all over the world should go and witness the historic event. Be on the lookout for more information about tickets.
The Alice Nine concert at Zepp Tokyo was held on April 10th. Although it was April, the weather was a bit chilly. The concert was their final performance for their 'Alice Nine Tour 2010 '幾何学ノ理 / Kikagaku no Kotowari''. They hadn't performed at Zepp Tokyo for quite a while. So with 15 minutes to go until the start of the show, the venue was packed with fans. Some were donning punk and Lolita clothing, while others were simply wearing T-shirts and jeans. There were also fans with towels wrapped around their necks. All of them were obviously primed and ready for the final concert.
Onstage the video screen at the back was showing a dashing black and white image. It was the same one used in the band's latest artist photos, and it silently waited for the members to show themselves. Eventually each member's name appeared on the screen. The final concert began with Shou shouting, "Let's go, Tokyo!"
Although it was cold outside, the venue was filled with the warm melodies of the first two songs; '華【hæ・nə】 / HANA [hæ・nə]' and 'ヴェルヴェット / VELVET'. Each song afterward showed a slightly different style. The music seemed to sink into the audience.
During the MC Shou asked, "Tokyo, long time no see! Were you waiting for us to come back?" The audience shouted, "Yes we were!" From their large voices, it was evident how much the fans had been waiting for them to return. The members smiled at the crowd's response. Everyone was shouting and raising their fists. Shou said, "You guys are so intense!" He then continued, "We're going to play you this next song so we could fly together forever!" That signaled the beginning of 'TSUBASA'. ['Tsubasa; 翼' means 'wing(s)' in Japanese.] Zepp Tokyo is of course sturdily built, but as the audience moved left and right you could feel the venue shake.
The stage lights seductively lit up the members during 'Kiss twice, Kiss me deadly'. For the next song 'ハイカラなる輪舞曲 / HIGH COLLAR NARU RONDO' the audience shouted out each member's name. Saga's bass solo elicited cheers from the fans. The sheer force of Nao's drums added even more excitement to everyone inside the venue.
Saga slid his fingers across the keyboard placed next to him. The fleeting sounds created by the keyboard made the ferocity of a while ago disappear. Every single person in the hall instantly became silent. Shou's low voice intertwined with the piano and slowly rained down upon the audience. The deliberate pace didn't last long. As the other members left the stage, Saga and Nao started a bass and drum session. The crowd again started to clap their hands. After that the other members reappeared and together played a few more songs. Up until the very end of the main part of the show the band's performance made the fans go wild. The members ran to and fro onstage without caring to wipe the sweat off their faces.
During the encore each member talked about incidents that had happened during the tour. They also discussed some things they had experienced for the first time as Alice Nine. The audience seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the members' unique MCing. Shou said, "This is our first time in 3 years to hold a solo concert at Zepp Tokyo." His comment apparently surprised many in the crowd. That was because the members had seemed to be very much at ease performing at Zepp Tokyo, despite their 3-year hiatus. (On a side note, this is the first musicJAPANplus live report of an Alice Nine concert held at Zepp Tokyo.)
After warming up the crowd with their MC, Nao struck the drums. Shou hollered, "Next is our new song!" The band then played '閃光 / Senkou'. There is still a considerable amount of time until its release in August. Until then, fans that unfortunately couldn't participate in the concert should definitely look forward to it.
Then the members reappeared to perform a second encore. That wasn't written on the set list provided to the press beforehand. They played '春夏秋冬 / SHUNKA SHUTO [lit. 'Four Seasons']'; it was a perfect choice for a concert held during the beginning of spring. The band performed 'RAINBOWS' for the second time that night. The members and the audience enjoyed the show together by performing 'A jumps'. (Saga had come up with the idea. The 'A' comes from 'Alice Nine'. You raise your hands above your head, put your palms together and jump.) That brought the tour to an end.
As was mentioned at the beginning of the report, Alice Nine will commence a new tour from July. During the tour they will release a new single, so fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming months. Shou told the fans "We'll never let go of you!" Just like he said, 2010 is set to be another busy year for Alice Nine fans.
Also, fans by all means should go to their concert at Nippon Budokan on January 6th 2011. Don't miss the chance to enjoy with the members their first ever performance at Nippon Budokan.
If you're thinking of going to the Alice Nine Nippon Budokan concert, go to the forum and share your plans!

the GazettE STANDING LIVE TOUR 10 THE END OF STILLNESS at Zepp Tokyo
All at once cheers erupted from the audience. The show began amid the applause from the fans. The background music that started off the night was 'THE END' from the album 'NIL'. The members chanted the lyrics and the crowd rhythmically handclapped. As the music got louder, the fans watched on expectantly. They seemed to be wondering what the band had in store for them. The members appeared onstage and surrounded the drum set with their backs toward the audience. The sound of a single gunshot rang clear through the venue. The hall was bathed in red lights as if soaked in blood.
At that moment Kai gripped his drumsticks and swung them down. Uruha's and Aoi's guitars whined, making the floor shake. The members turned to face the crowd. Ruki slammed the microphone stand to the floor. The first song of the night was the aggressive 'Nausea & Shudder'. Stage lights beamed toward the band from all over the place, casting shadows on to the walls on both sides of the hall. The fierceness continued into 'LEECH'. Even though there were lots of people, every single one of them was wildly headbanging. It would have been quite a sight in a larger venue, but watching the place completely packed with fans was equally impressive. Anyone there definitely would have gotten goose bumps. The audience intently watched Aoi's mesmerizing stage performance. They were drunkenly moving their bodies to the never-ending stream of energetic music.
"Buttobe, gokiburi-yaro! (Bug off cockroach!)" That familiar phrase signaled the beginning of 'COCKROACH'. The fans jumped up and down in rhythm with Kai's drums. You could literally feel the venue shaking, but the members apparently weren't satisfied. Ruki taunted the crowd by saying "You're a bit quiet today. Are you guys dead or something?" The audience immediately roared back. Then the band went on to 'SWALLOWTAIL ON THE DEATH VALLEY'. Kai steadily tapped the snare drum. The dance music instantly made everyone move their bodies, causing the hall to shudder once again. The members then performed 'ガンジスに紅い薔薇 / Ganges ni Akai Bara', '生暖かい雨とざらついた情熱 / Namaatatakai Ame to Zaratsuita Jonetsu' and 'Psychedelic Heroine'. All the while the audience on the first floor was churned around inside a mosh pit.
The venue eventually became silent, and blue lights slowly and gently started to shine. The electric guitars of Uruha and Aoi invited the fans further deeply into the world of the GazettE. They played a string of rock ballads, starting with '菫 / Sumire'. Aoi's acoustic guitar gave '花言葉 / Hanakotoba' a unique texture. The following '紅蓮 / Guren' had a powerful melody. The fans were hypnotized by the music created by the 5 members. The audience couldn't keep their eyes off the band and became oblivious to everything else.
In response to the raised fists of the crowd, Ruki said "We haven't played at Zepp Tokyo for a while. Like always, the view from here is great." The adrenaline pumping atmosphere also had a nice and easy feeling to it. After a short MC the band moved on to 'AGONY'. Aoi and Reita moved their entire bodies in rhythm with Ruki's rapping. The melody changed rapidly as if continuously warping between different worlds. It was almost like seeing a DJ scratching a record onstage.
So far the band had played 11 songs, including quite a few hard rock tracks, and that meant they were halfway through the set list. Ruki was wearing leather gloves in bright pink and he pointed his fingers toward the crowd. "Tokyo! Give me some more!" That was a sign for the audience to once again bring forth the energy they had shown in the first part of the show. After 'Hyena' a hardcore melody began 'HEADACHE MAN'. During the chorus Ruki and the fans sang to each other. Earlier the members were the ones that had taunted the crowd, but now it was the audience's turn to coax more energy from the members. At the end of the song Ruki laughed uncontrollably as if he had gone mad. Gradually the lights dimmed. Immediately after that Ruki shouted "We're not finished! Come on!" The stage lights turned back on. They played 'Filth in the beauty' and 'Maggots'. Both of them were teeming with vigor. Uruha's guitar seamlessly continued into 'DISCHARGE'. Short bursts of drumbeats overlapped each other and began to pick up speed. Although it was the last song of the main part of the show, everyone inside was just as energetic as they had been at the beginning. The momentum created by the band never went away, even as the members left the stage.
The brimming audience was able to take a breather. But eventually the few remaining spaces at the back were quickly filled with even more people. The fans continued to proudly chant and shout for an encore. Just like with many other the GazettE concerts, the encore began with Reita and Kai jamming together with 'Ride with the ROCKERS'. When the two reached their positions, the sound of Kai's cymbals reverberated through the air. The low, heavy sounds of the bass and the exhilarating beats of the drums went on for a while, and then Uruha and Aoi appeared. They both gave solo performances that captivated the audience. They were smiling toward the fans and showed no signs of fatigue. When Ruki made his way onto the stage they began 'Ruder'. The atmosphere instantly changed with 'SILLY GOD DISCO'. Ruki sang using a loudspeaker, and along with the disco music it gave the song a unique character.
"Oh yeah, Tokyo! Since this is fan club tour, there are lots of people who're used to the GazettE concerts. It's harder to perform in these kinds of situations. [In normal concerts] When you see people who aren't really into the performance, it makes you want to try harder."
Ruki's comments during the MC weren't well received by some of the fans. But his views showed the band's commitment towards trying to welcome all sorts of different people to their concerts. That's a very important mindset for a band that puts an emphasis on live performances. It also might be the reason why they've been able to constantly evolve.
"I want everybody in this together! Show me what you got!" Ruki's shout cut short the voices of the audience. It also kicked off the next song '関東土下座組合 / Kanto Dogeza Kumiai'. Some violently shook their heads, while some prostrated just like the title of the song. ['土下座 (dogeza)' means 'to prostate' in Japanese.] Kai swung his drumsticks without rest. It was hot inside the venue, making everyone sweat. That provided a stark contrast to the chilly weather of March outside.
So far the GazettE had performed 20 songs, including the instrumental track. But the fans ceaselessly called for the members to come back. The chants and handclaps grew louder. Everyone was hoping that the lights onstage would turn on again. Eventually the members appeared from the side of the stage. The enthusiasm of the fans seemed to make them walk more nimbly than usual.
The set list for this tour was made with an aim to test the 'limits' of the GazettE. That was why they made the astonishing decision to perform over 20 songs, even though it wasn't a one night only concert. The crowd was further surprised when the band began playing the final song of the night. They chose '「春ニ散ケリ、身ハ枯レルデゴザイマス。」 / "Haru ni Chirikeri, Mi wa Kareru de gozaimasu."'. Both screams and cheers went up from the audience. Then the fans quickly adjusted and started to perfectly mimic Ruki's dance moves. Although the song's lyrics suggested a sorrowful theme, the members smiled as they made their way to the front of the stage.
When the music ended, the fans began to call out each member's names. Ruki responded to the fans' calls. "See you again! We love you!" That of course caused more screams to erupt from the crowd.
The tour came to an end on March 31st. At the time when this report was written, no new future schedules had been announced. But the band's 2010 season has just begun. There is sure to be more from the band in the near future. Additional info will be reported in the musicJAPANplus news section. Be sure to regularly check for new developments.

the GazettE STANDING LIVE TOUR 10 THE END OF STILLNESS
March 17th at Zepp Tokyo
Late last year on December 24th the GazettE performed a concert titled 'live09 A HYMN OF THE CRUCIFIXION'. After nearly 3 months, the band finally appeared in front of the fans. For this recent tour all the performances were held in standing-room only venues, and were attended exclusively by fan club members. That made it very difficult to get a hold of a ticket for these special concerts. This live report will recount their performance at Zepp Tokyo on March 17th, which marked the midway point of the tour. The photos you see weren't taken during the Zepp Tokyo concert but at a different one held on March 31st at Zepp Osaka. Please enjoy looking at and reading about two separate concerts.

the GazettE just celebrated its 8th anniversary on March 10th. On the same date last year the band commemorated their anniversary together with the fans at Makuhari Messe. As for this year they got together at Zepp Nagoya which has a max capacity of about 2000 people. The concert on March 17th was their first live performance in Tokyo since the band's birthday. While waiting for the show to begin the fans couldn't hide their excitement and were smiling the whole time. A little while later an announcement was made and told the fans that the concert was about to start
blog memorian kazuki with yuto
When we formed the band, I moved close to Yuto's place.
I took train with Yuto.
After the secret live, he parked his car in front of my place and said let's sleep for 5 min, then we ended up sleeping for 2 hours.
When he's passed out, I took care of him.
When I were passed out, he took care of me.
I fought with him about nothing.
I fought with him about something.
It was only Yuto that I were about to have fist fight.
That's why I were became serious.
I have too much memory to write here.
Though we go different way, let's go forward together."

fact JIN
to make more people know about him I made this. He loves fanmails! *-* Send him some~ I'm going to send him something for Christmas~! And I don't understand why people think SCREW's new album ''X-Rays'' is a huge fail.. All the songs are good in it, including the one I used in the video. So tell me why its a fail?! I'm dying to know. And I hope he doesn't suffer from tonsillitis anymore.. We love you Jin~ ♥
Here is some extra info on him:
- Screw had to cancel three lives of their tour in January 2008 because of Jin had been suffering from tonsillitis. On their OHP, theyve said that just before the live he had a fever that rose to more than 40゜C (around 105゜C), and his tonsils become inflamed. Due to his hazardous condition and laboured breathing, and since doing lives require intense activity, hes under doctors orders to stop (for the time being).
At Kyoto MUSE, Jin truly wanted to perform, however, the result from his discussion the members and staff was to cancel the lives. Of course they all apologize to the fans and to the people who were looking forward to not only this live, but the upcoming lives.

preview SAGA about chiko
You told us "We want to meet the real Chiko!", so we've decided to do a photoshoot of Saga together with his idol dog, Chiko-chan. The day we did the photoshoot was a cold winter day and it seemed like it could start raining at any time. But despite his old age (16 years old!), the pictures we took show him strolling & playing around cheerfully with Saga-kun! During the interview, we asked about "how he met with Chiko" and "comfort". You can really feel the affection Saga-kun bears toward Chiko!!
---Please tell us about how your first met with Chiko.
He was brought home when I was in my last few years of elementary school. At that time dogs weren't allowed in my house, so even though I wanted to keep a dog, I kept being told "No way!" and gave up on that. But one day, my old man who was the most opposed to it, came home with one. It seems that someone he knew was giving away 3 pups and was looking for a safe home for them. Therefore, my dad went and picked a completely black dog who was so docile he almost seemed dead. This dog who made him feel weak from the moment he saw him and who gave him the feeling he had to bring him to a safe home, that was Chiko. When I came back from school, somehow I had the feeling that there was a dog at home. I thought it could have been my younger brother, but no matter what I had the feeling there was a dog (laugh). Then when I saw this completely black dog, I was surprised like "What the hell is that!?".
---Who gave him the name Chiko?
At that time, my grandmother who passed away used to live with us. She had a cat whose name was Chiko. Even though this cat was no longer here, she still seemed to be attached to her, so when she saw the dog who'd just come, she said "I'm going to call this dog Chiko" (laugh).
---But, Chiko is a male, right?
That's right. I was worried, and Chiko too (laugh). But 1 month after we started to call him Chiko, he seemed to have understood that he was Chiko.
---What are Chiko's strong points?
Actually, he's a big coward, so he'd be defeated even by a chihuahua. He's even scared of cats when we go out for a stroll, so he's truly weak. But, he's strong only when he's at home, on his territory. He stands up against the gas repairman or the old salespersons. Also, his will to live is strong. Even until now, he's always had lots of energy to play with me, it's amazing. On top of that, he's a crossbreed.
---Saga-kun, you take good care of him, don't you?
Of course, I do. At home, everybody's got a job and leaves relatively early in the morning, so I give him breakfast, I give him water, and if I didn't have to take Chiko out for bathroom, I'd never go outside. And if I never went outside, Chiko couldn't go to the bathroom, so I never go past certain time.
[TRANSLATOR'S NOTE: Can't read the next question/answer on the scan here so will fix it as soon as I buy the magazine.]
---The cause of Saga's lateness was Chiko, right (laugh)?
That's right. My CHIKOKU's CHI-KO is Chiko (laugh).1
---Do you have any memories with Chiko?
Chiko has seen many different people who I've become related to during my life. Like friends, or high school sweethearts. He knows the people I've encountered better than anyone else. And at night, I really can't see him when it's dark. I think I must have stepped on his tail or kicked him accidentally about 100 times.
---What do you do when you step on him?
I'm instantly worried. But even then, he doesn't bark. He's tolerant. He does that "Please get off of me" expression and stares at me without moving. He's a brave dog.
---Conversely, Saga-kun isn't afraid of anything, right?
A long time ago, I was quite fierce. Until I was about 4 years old, I aimed for the throat of people who came to visit us. One time, I didn't bite, but I suddenly jumped onto a friend, it was problematic. By the way, when I was a kid I ate the cat's food.
---Really? How is it like?
Cat food? It's delicious. When my grandmother was preparing food for the cat, she also prepared some for me, and I'd eat it.
---So it wasn't cat food but neko-manma2?
That's right. Like katsubushi on rice, it was simple but it was surprisingly good. I got addicted.
---When you're with Chiko, what kind of person do you become?
When we're together, I turn into a dog too. Like dogs do, we eat meals together. If we don't take meals at the same time, Chiko looks so lonely, when I look at him I feel like he's telling me "You should eat too". He won't eat until I start eating too, so he must think "This guy is great.".
---At this time, does Saga-kun eat dog food too?
No way! Of course I eat human food (laugh). But, Chiko can read the situation. If I'm so tired I'm falling asleep, he comes closer.
---Do you talk to Chiko?
I usually do. I talk to him with bad words, as if I were talking to a friend, I tell him various things.
---You don't baby-talk to him?
I don't! Once I tried to do it when no one was around, but it was kinda awkward and I felt like he was telling me "Don't talk to me like that". But when I talk to him, he makes a nice face and he listens, so it's truly comforting. We've been together for 16 years, so I often feel like he's a person. When I complain to him, or when I tell him about the things I want to do, he understands. Me and Chiko's bounds aren't like those between a master and a pet, I think they're close to bounds between two persons.
---What kind of things do you tell him?
"This idol is cute uh?", this sort of stupid things (laugh). Also, we watched U2's LIVE DVD together. He comes near when I watch TV. When he sees another dog, he puts his nose against the screen. And when he sees food too, it piques his interest. He can't smell it but he probably understands that it looks delicious.
---Is he docile?
Generally, he's docile. He likes girls for sure. When a girls comes over, he comes closer on his own free will.
---On that point, is he like his owner?
This, I'm not going to tell (laugh)!
---What kind of presence does Chiko have to Saga-kun?
If Chiko wasn't here, I wouldn't write songs. And I think because Chiko has been here until now, I've been peaceful and relaxed, so I've come up with great songs. If Chiko wasn't there, I have a feeling I'd write nothing but boring, monotone songs. I've also composed some songs while I was out with Chiko for a stroll in the park, so to me, Chiko truly has a huge presence.
---Concretly, what songs are you talking about?
Almost all the songs I did on "VANDALIZE". The serene songs like "the beautiful name", "Waterfall" and "Subaru" were all created while I was strumming my guitar with Chiko around. But when I'm composing noisy songs, because the guitar is very loud, he runs away (laugh).
---Chiko can be seen on a lot of Saga-kun's things, right?
That's right! He can be seen on a lot of alice nine.'s stuff (laugh). Because now, he's even been on our merchandise. T-shirt, mugcups, picks. I sent a picture I'd taken of him with my keitai to our designer and got those things made. Lately, I've even been getting fan letters, not addressed to me, but to Chiko. I reiceved presents and when I opened them, they weren't for me, but dog food for Chiko (laugh). But I'm grateful for those things. I want to do my best so he lives until 20 years.
---With that said, how is the tour going?
This time, we put together a setlist that drastically changed the flow we've had until now. Even in small livehouses, we want to stress on the mood, so we're doing fewer MCs. The order in which we wanted to play the songs from "VANDALIZE" was very different, so before the tour, we created 2 setlist patterns. We alternated them between each live, but by the time the 5th live ended, we were already fed up, so now we're quickly trying to think of a 3rd pattern. We replaced the songs that weren't very successful even up to now during this tour, but this time the 3rd pattern drastically changes the flow of the live so [TRANSLATOR'S NOTE: And once again I can't read because of the scan. Will fix as soon as I get the magazine.]
During "the beautiful name", even though I thought the audience would leap and jump and keep time to the music, this time I'm happy if everyone enjoys themselves freely. Even thought it was decided that people should move a lot during harder songs and stay in place and listen during melodious songs, we wanted to change this, and we wanted people to move freely and uninteruptedly during the live.
---That's what you said in our last interview.
That's right. Basically it's a good feeling when everyone can be themselves.
---There are 15 lives left, isn't it?
I think we're still going to change after this. It's amazing. We're already different presently. I hope you're looking forward.

TRANSLATOR'S NOTES
1 CHIKOKU (遅刻) means "lateness" in English. It's a word game that's unfortunately impossible to translate into English.
2 Neko-manma (猫まんま) literally translates to "cat food" in English, but it's actually an expression that means simple food (such as a rice and tuna) or leftovers (because people used to give them to their pets before).
